Asia’s No. 1 Tech Startup Conference ‘beGLOBAL SEOUL 2015’ Opens for Registration!

Seoul, South Korea – Calling all tech lovers!  For those running a start-up, or those ready to launch a start-up, or those just interested in hearing about all of the creative ideas that Asia’s top entrepreneurs are buzzing about, then beGLOBAL is an event that is not to be missed.  Hailed as Korea’s and Asia’s premier start-up tech conference, beGLOBAL brings together some of the world’s most innovative entrepreneurs, influential leaders, and toughest critics for an exciting filled 2 days.  Start-ups have the unique opportunity of pitching their ideas in front of global audience, including a distinguished panel of judges and venture capitalists in hopes of walking away with the title of “Start-up Battle Winner”.  Although the winning team is awarded with a cash prize, I think that all of the participants would agree that the real achievement is just being able to pitch their vision and see, first-hand, the kind of excitement their ideas draw from the crowd.  Not to mention the invaluable advice they receive from the judges and potential investors. Often the biggest treat for audience members is being able to hear from the interesting array of leaders who present at the conference.

nalda+Fashion: Kaya Media (가야미디어) Year-End Party

가야미디어 연말파티 ‘GOOD BYE 2014’

As we kick-off 2015, I am already missing all of the fun holiday spirit from the past few months.  Family gatherings, shopping, bubbly drinks, treats, and of course, all the parties.  I love how everyone seems to be in a good mood around the holidays and is always up for having a good time. This year nalda was lucky enough to be invited to Kaya Media’s ‘Goodbye 2014’ Year-end party!  Fashion parties can sometimes be intimidating, because what do you wear to an event that you know will be sprinkled with fashion editors, professional photographers, models, and actors?  Actually my favorite part of these kind of parties is getting to see what everyone wears.  It is like watching magazine pages come to life. I love how fashionistas aren’t afraid to play with fashion, express themselves through their outfits, and stylize art through clothing.

This year’s party took place at the posh Raum Social Venue in Gangnam.  It was a treat being able to see it all decked out for the holidays.  The red carpet and twinkle lights made it feel more magical than normal.  Even without the extra touches, you feel like you are entering a palace once you walk through the gates.

To get the party started, cocktail servers walked around serving delicious appetizers like lasagna, lobster, steak and a plethora of dessert options.  The bar was fully stocked with AGWA Liqueur and VOGA ITALIA wine.  We found the magkoli-kiwi fusion cocktail to be particularly tasty. And the best part of the evening, by far, was the DJ!  Hands-down, it was the best spun party I have been to in Korea.

Throughout the evening guests could partake in the #SNSMisson to win prizes.  True to Korean form, selfie sticks were even provided for guests.  Near the end of the party, we were treated to a special performance by a beat-boxer, and the party ended with a raffle with, of course, some luxe prizes.  While we didn’t win any of the prizes, we were more than excited to tote home the gift bag.  All in all it was a magical evening and a great way to cap off a great year!  Thank you again Kaya, and we look forward to next year’s event.
